When you sign up, we collect the information you choose to give us, typically your name and email address. If you sign up through a form on Facebook or Instagram, we receive the name and email associated with your submission.
To send you the Controlled Chaos Report, news about WEIRDOS and the book Once Upon a Trainwreck, events, and occasional offers related to Christy Carlson Romano, and to understand which messages are useful so we can improve them. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
The Controlled Chaos Report is published on Substack, and our email list is also stored with Kit (ConvertKit). Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies at substack.com/privacy and kit.com/privacy. This site uses the Meta Pixel to measure our advertising. If you sign up through Facebook or Instagram, Meta also processes your submission under its own policy.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time with one click. You may also email us to request that we update or delete your information.
